Exquisite Notary Solutions is a certified LiveScan Service provider approved by FDLE and the FBI. Your fingerprints are sent immediately via the electronic transmission/certified channeling to FDLE and the FBI. Results are sent also immediately to the agency that is requiring them for your job, license, or volunteering.

What is LiveScan?

LiveScan is the process of capturing fingerprints electronically in order to conduct a criminal background check for purposes of employment, licensure, certification, personal request, and more.  This current technology replaces the need to have your fingerprints taken using ink cards.  The submission process is instant, which means the  FDLE or FBI can provide the applicant’s results in a more timely manner.  This speeds up the overall background check process.

What if my fingerprints are rejected due to poor image quality?

There are a few times when a person’s fingerprints are difficult to capture due to factors such as scars, cuts, excessively moist or dry hands, cracks, and calluses.  If this is the case, the live scan operator will recapture the applicant’s fingerprints at no additional cost.

* The applicant must bring in the DOJ rejection letter which contains the original ATI number required for the resubmission of fingerprints.*

ACCEPTABLE FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION

Primary, Secondary & Supporting Documents

Primary Identification Document

State driver’s license or State Identification card As a primary form of picture identification, a state-issued driver’s license may be presented by an applicant when being fingerprinted. For those applicants without a driver’s license, a state identification card may be presented if the state’s identification card standards are the same as for the driver’s license.

Secondary Identification Documents

 In the absence of a driver’s license, applicants may provide one or more of the following Secondary Documents:

  1. · State/Government Issued Certificate of Birth 

  2. · US Active Duty/Retiree/Reservist Military ID Card (000 10-2) 

  3. · Passport (current) 

  4. · Social Security Card 

  5. · Certificate of Citizenship (N560)

  6. · Certificate of Naturalization (N550)

  7. · Marriage Certificate (Government Certificate Issued)

  8. · INS I-551 Resident Alien Card Issued since 1997 

  9. · INS 1-688 Temporary Resident Identification Card 

  10. · INS I-688B, I-766 Employment Authorization Card 

  11. · U.S. Tribal or Bureau of Indian Affairs Identification Card

Supporting Documents

If Secondary Documentation is provided as proof of ID, it must be supported by at least two of the following Supporting Documents with Name and current address:

· Voter Registration Card 

· Vehicle Registration /Title 

· Paycheck Stub 

· Cancelled Check or Bank Statement
